Would you like to help the planet and its people by ramping up the impact of Food Frontier’s communications? We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Communications Coordinator who is adept at carrying out a range of tasks including content development, social media engagement, website maintenance and basic design.

Founded in 2017, Food Frontier is the independent think tank on alternative proteins in Australia and New Zealand. We’re committed to growing our region’s protein supply with new, sustainable and nutritious options that create value for businesses, farmers and consumers. Funded by grants and donations, Food Frontier’s research, events and engagements help businesses, policymakers and innovators to understand the emergence and unlock the benefits of plant-based meat, precision fermentation and cultivated meat.

A bit about the job

The Communication Coordinator will support Food Frontier in ramping up the impact of communications through a range of tasks including content development, social media engagement, website maintenance and design support. 

Working closely with the Communication and Marketing Manager you will use your strong writing skills to develop content for news posts, newsletters, publications, EDMs, marketing, and other collateral as needed. 

You will be largely in charge of our social media, initiating and developing regular posts and you will lend your creative hand to basic design tasks for socials and marketing collateral. You will also maintain two WordPress websites and keep an eye on relevant media, helping out with media engagement when needed.
