Food Frontier welcomes two new team members
Liz Shaw - Event Manager, and Jill Corcoran - Administrative Coordinator.

Food Frontier is thrilled to announce two new additions to our passionate team, with Liz Shaw joining as Event Manager and Jill Corcoran as Administrative Coordinator.

Food Frontier CEO Jane Sydenham-Clarke said, “it’s an honour to see our team grow as Food Frontier’s role as the lead educator and facilitator in alternative proteins in Australia and New Zealand evolves and expands. Both Liz and Jill in their respective roles bring invaluable expertise and insight to our high-performing team’s operations.”

Liz joins Food Frontier as Event Manager with extensive event delivery experience specialising in the food sector, implementing events from concept to delivery through many roles but most notably managing food trade shows such as Foodservice Australia and Food and Hospitality Queensland, alongside other specialised events. Liz is motivated by her keen interest in health, and passion for sustainability and food sector innovation, which she brings to Food Frontier’s work in this space.

Jill also brings to her role of Administrative Coordinator a breadth of experience in office and financial administration, with 25 years’ experience in an extensive variety of industries, from market research to public relations and more. She is a highly adaptable and experienced administrator who specialises in laying the foundations that allow innovative small businesses to grow and thrive. Jill was drawn to Food Frontier through an inquisitive interest in the role of a think tank, and the sustainability prospects of alternative proteins.

Food Frontier also farewelled our long-standing Head of Communications, Jennifer Weber, who joined the organisation in 2019 and now moves to a new Head of Brand and Communications role in an organisation in the English proficiency testing sector.

“We’re grateful for Jennifer’s pioneering of Food Frontiers’ communications strategy, with invaluable contributions across many aspects of our organisation’s function, including developing several thought leadership reports and campaigns and stewarding the launch of a new brand and website this year. These foundational initiatives and strategies position Food Frontier well to continue serving our key role as a thought leader in our region ” Jane said.
