Advisory council profile

Angeline is a recognised industry leader and innovation practitioner renowned for her strong business acumen. She serves on government, academic, and industry advisory boards, and is currently CEO, Innovation GameChangers as well as Australia Chair Food Innovation, G100: Mission Million. Angeline has more than 20 years’ diverse international innovation and leadership experience in blue chip multinationals such as Mondelez International, Yum Brands (KFC), Fonterra, and MARS. In her senior general management role at Mondelez International, she co-led the development of a world first stand-alone industry shared venture (Food Innovation Hub), which supported businesses to accelerate and de-risk their innovations in both domestic and Asian markets and is now sustainably operated by Monash University. Angeline has led teams in innovation, strategy development, market expansion, research and development, Quality, Regulatory and Packaging functions to launch more than 1000 innovations in FMCG, FS & QSR retail channels across APAC markets. Angeline’s formative years were spent on her grandparents’ farms, which sparked a passion and interest in agriculture and food leading to her future studies in food technology and systems. She is driven to create impact through her leadership and experience towards a more sustainable and connected global food system, particularly towards advancing Australia’s role in connecting agrifood to create more value-added products consumers need. Angeline continues to support the agrifood sector through her involvement across advisory, advocacy, mentoring and as an internationally recognised speaker and thought leader on commercialising agri-food innovation, the future of food and export pathways for Australian food into Asia.
