Liz leads the development and execution of Food Frontier’s premiere event, the annual AltProteins Conference, as well as envisions and develops other key stakeholder events for the organisation. She has a passion for creating, marketing, leading and implementing events from concept to delivery, and is driven by seeing the final result come to life. Liz began her career at JGD Exhibition Systems in a hands-on role managing events across varied industries in venues across Australia. She then moved into food events, managing major food trade shows, Foodservice Australia and Food & Hospitality Queensland as well as The National Restaurant Conference amoung other events for Specialised Events. Liz became well versed in the many facets of the food sector, from manufacturing to supply chain to end user experience across retail and foodservice. Liz’s career has also led her to work at events in Italy at HostMilano and in Hong Kong at Hofex. Health, nutrition, food and the impact they have on our lives have always been of keen interest to Liz, and paired with her passion for sustainability and food sector innovation, she is thrilled to be a part of Food Frontier’s work in this space.
