Kathy leads Food Frontier’s communications and marketing. She manages projects that strengthen Food Frontier’s brand, engagement, positioning, and impact to further the organisation and its mission to benefit people and the planet through food systems change.
A communications and marketing professional with a background in journalism, Kathy has 13 years of experience in the agri-food, environment, and health sectors working with NGOs, businesses, and government. She is skilled in executing strategies that strengthen relationships and raise awareness to create behavioural change. She began her career in journalism working first in print followed by the ABC where she worked as a local and national reporter and broadcaster across Australia covering issues and current affairs that matter to regional and rural areas. As a communications manager, Kathy has worked in the natural resource management, conservation, organic, marine research and water industries.
A values-driven professional, Kathy is especially interested in amplifying the impact of organisations that do good for the world and is excited to help Food Frontier accelerate alternative protein solutions in Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
